Superheadz Golden Half: Death Valley

Got a new toy camera for Christmas this past year, used it immediately, and finally got around to processing the role. Superheadz Golden Half Camera is a 35mm half-frame camera. This role was scanned as individual photos, but I'll also be posting a role soon that was scanned as two photos per the full 35mm frame. Not totally thrilled with this camera just yet, but I'll have to try again soon based on what I learned from these results. Trial and error is the name of the game with amateur, analog photography.

This first set was taken back in January at Death Valley National Park, one of my favorite national parks. The terrain of the park is surreal, unparalleled, and I love the slot canyon hikes. I was in a somewhat altered state of mind when taking these photos, and I feel like that's somewhat reflected in them.

  1. I love your photos! I've just ordered a Golden Half camera myself (a Hello Kitty model, which will surely be a great fit for a soon to be 29-year old male), and these photos you took assured me that I made a wise purchase! The fifth photo is my favorite!

  2. Thank you! As a soon to be 28 year-old female I find my investment in children's toys highly lucrative. I'm sure you'll be happy with your Hello Kitty Golden Half. They're great cameras and a lot cheaper than other toy cameras. Thanks for checking out my blog!
